The Effect of Internal Possession Laws on Underage Drinking Among High School Students: A 12-State Analysis

Abstract:Authors studied the effectiveness of internal possession (IP) laws by+

examining data from the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) from 12 states pre and post IP law implementation. Findings revealed that IP laws were associated with declines in the odds of drinking in the past month.
